Notre Dame Catholic School in Spring Hill is seeking to hire a part-time K-8 Music teacher for the 26-27 school year. We are seeking someone who consistently strives for what is best for students, who is creative and collaborative, who never stops learning, and who wants to be part of a team that has high expectations of themselves and their students.

Requirements:

• Candidates for this position need to support the mission of Catholic Education
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Florida Teaching Certificate is preferred
• The ideal candidate has 3-5 years teaching experience in an elementary or middle school setting

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging unit and lesson plans that align with standards
• Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to help fulfill our school mission
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Lead and organize the school-wide Christmas program and Spring Concert

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level II background screening and Safe Environment Training.
