Cathedral School of St. Jude in St. Petersburg is looking for a qualified teacher assistant. All candidates must have started or possess DCF's 40 clock hours, and experience in teaching at the early childhood level. CDA is a plus. Pay will be based on education and experience. The available position is between 7:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. The teacher assistant position requires you to work with four-year-old students. This is a permanent, full-time position with benefits.

Requirements:

– Must have 40 hours DCF training, plus 5 hours of literacy.

– Must have level 2 background screening in DCF portal.

– Must love working with young children.

- Teaching experience required.

– Confidence in working with children, parents and fellow staff members.

– Able to work positively under the guidance and supervision of administration.

– Strong communication skills.

– Ability to relate positively with young children

Completion of a Level II fingerprint/background screening clearance is required before a start date.
