Assistant Principal (AP) - St. Cecelia Catholic School

Requirements - Candidates for this full-time administrative position should support the mission of Catholic Education and be a practicing Catholic in good standing, demonstrate innovative leadership which promotes Catholic identity while striving for academic excellence, exhibit high moral and ethical standards, demonstrate visionary leadership skills, have strong technology and organization skills, along with personable and professional communication skills.

The responsibilities of the AP may include, but are not limited to: management of student affairs; oversight of curriculum, School Improvement Plan (SIP), International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes; teacher observations and supervision; scheduling. The AP will work closely with the principal to communicate and live the school’s vision and mission statement.

Preferred applicant should hold or be eligible for a valid Florida Teaching Certificate and should have a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Prior experience in school administration or school leadership is preferred. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level II background screening.

This position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been selected.
