St. Anthony Catholic School is a historic and picturesque VPK-8th Grade Diocesan School located in San Antonio, Florida. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Instructional Aide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students, particularly in a primary/elementary classroom setting. This position requires a nurturing individual who is passionate about childhood development and committed to fostering an inclusive classroom environment.

Experience

• Previous experience working with children in a primary/elementary educational setting is preferred
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning atmosphere
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues

Duties

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing small group instruction and 1:1 support
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and structured environment
• Engage with students to promote learning and development through interactive activities
• Help prepare educational materials and resources for lessons, bulletin boards
• Supervise students at lunch and recess
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in elementary education

Selected candidates must complete a Level II background screening and a series of Safe Environment-related courses to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and community. The person selected must be willing to uphold the teachings of the Catholic faith.
