Saint John Paul II Catholic School, a PreK3 - 8th Grade diocesan school located in Lecanto, Florida, seeks an elementary school (grade 3) teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is considered a regular full time position set to begin Aug. 1, 2026.
Candidates for this position will support the mission of Catholic Education and the curriculum of Saint John Paul II Catholic School, Diocese of St. Petersburg.
The preferred applicant is passionate about teaching and must have a bachelor’s degree and hold, or be eligible for, Elementary Grades (K-6) certification from the Florida Department of Education.
Applicant will be able to incorporate technology into their classroom instruction and have excellent communication and organizational skills. Skills in providing students with differentiated instruction is required.
This position requires a Level II background check and mandated training in Catechism (provided by the school).
