Middle School STREAM Teacher – Cathedral School of St. Jude
Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year

The Cathedral School of St. Jude is seeking a faith-filled Middle School STREAM Teacher to inspire students through hands-on, project-based learning in Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The ideal candidate fosters creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world problem solving while integrating Catholic values and ethical reasoning.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate (or eligible to obtain)

• Minimum three years of teaching experience preferred

• Actively practicing Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education

• Experience designing standards-aligned, project-based STREAM instruction

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Effective technology integration to enhance student learning

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to professional growth and curriculum improvement

• Successful completion of Level II Background Screening and Safe Environment training

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned STREAM lessons

• Create unit plans, assessments, and differentiated learning activities

• Facilitate hands-on, project-based, and real-world learning experiences

• Assess student growth using multiple methods and provide meaningful feedback

• Encourage responsible and innovative use of technology

• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and design interdisciplinary units

• Maintain a structured, faith-centered, and nurturing classroom environment

• Communicate effectively with families to support student success
