St. Patrick Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and committed Fifth Grade Teacher who is passionate about rigorous academics, strong faith formation, and building meaningful relationships with students and families.

The fifth grade teacher serves as a key leader in preparing students for the transition to middle school by setting high expectations, fostering independence, and encouraging critical thinking. The ideal candidate will intentionally integrate Catholic teachings into classroom instruction and model Christian values in all interactions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing challenging, engaging instruction in core academic subjects

• Promoting intellectual curiosity and strong study habits

• Integrating Catholic identity and faith-based principles across disciplines

• Establishing a positive, respectful, and supportive classroom culture

• Maintaining clear and consistent communication with families

• Working collaboratively with faculty to advance the school’s mission

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

• Valid state teaching certification (or eligibility)

• Practicing Catholic preferred

• Strong instructional planning and classroom leadership skills

• Commitment to partnering closely with parents in support of student success

• Must pass a Level II Background Screening and complete Safe Environment Training
