Elementary Teacher: Bishop Larkin 26-27 School Year

Department: Elementary/Middle Education
Location: Port Richey, FL

Bishop Larkin Catholic School in Port Richey, FL is seeking a faith-filled, dynamic, and student-centered Elementary Classroom Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

At BLCS, classroom teachers deliver standards-aligned curriculum while intentionally integrating the Catholic faith to create an environment where students grow hearts for Jesus, hands for serving, and minds for learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)

  • Valid Florida State Teacher Certification in Elementary Education or Pre-K/Primary Education (required)

  • Commitment to Catholic values and mission-centered education

  • Strong instructional, classroom management, and collaboration skills

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening

  • Develop and revise standards-based unit plans with aligned assessments

  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs

  • Integrate technology meaningfully into instruction

  • Use data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes

  • Administer formative, summative, and authentic assessments

  • Provide meaningful feedback aligned to learning goals

  • Collaborate in Professional Learning Communities and grade-level teams to monitor student progress and schoolwide goals
