Part-Time Spanish Teacher 2026-2027

Department: Elementary/Middle Education
Location: Clearwater, FL

Guardian Angels Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to inspire students and foster an appreciation for the Spanish language and culture. The ideal candidate will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support our school’s mission and enhance students’ academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate Spanish language instruction.

  • Teach foundational Spanish skills including vocabulary, pronunciation, basic grammar, and conversational language.

  • Incorporate speaking, listening, reading, writing, songs, and cultural activities into lessons.

  • Create a positive, organized, and respectful classroom environment.

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and administration.

  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families when appropriate.

  • Assess student progress and provide feedback as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (preferred).

  • Experience teaching Spanish to children in a school or group setting.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Ability to support and uphold the values and mission of a Catholic school.

  • Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with students.

Requirements:

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion and clearance of Level II fingerprinting and background screening.

  • Must meet all diocesan and school employment requirements.
