**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Middle School English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching English language and literature to middle school students. They will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and help students develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students.
2. Implement effective strategies to promote student engagement and understanding of English concepts.
3. Evaluate and grade students' classwork, assignments, and papers.
4. Maintain accurate records of students' progress and development.
5. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress.
6. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
7. Stay up-to-date on best practices in English education and incorporate them into teaching methods.

**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Florida State teaching certification for Middle School English.
3. Proven experience in teaching English at the middle school level.
4. Strong understanding of English language and literature.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Employment is pending successful completion of a Level II background screening and Safe Environment class.
