Mother Teresa Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and faith-driven School Principal for the 2025-2026 academic year, with a preferred start date of July 1, 2025 (flexible and negotiable during the interview process).

As a Catholic diocesan school serving 455 students in grades K-8, Mother Teresa Catholic School is committed to providing a high-quality educational and spiritual experience. Accredited through the Florida Catholic Conference, our school upholds the highest standards in faith-based education.

Position Overview

The principal will serve as both the faith and academic leader of our school, fostering a strong Catholic identity while ensuring excellence in education, student development, and community engagement.

Qualifications

Each candidate must:

• Be a practicing Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education.
• Possess (or be eligible for) a State of Florida Principal Certificate, including required graduate coursework in educational leadership.
• Have a minimum of five years’ experience in teaching or school leadership, preferably in a Catholic school setting.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with students, parents, faculty, and parish representatives.
• Have experience in fiscal management and school budgeting.
• Integrate Catholic traditions with best instructional practices in 21st-century education.
• Meet all requirements for principals set by the Diocese of St. Petersburg, the State of Florida Department of Education, and the Florida Catholic Conference.
• Successfully complete Level II Fingerprinting, Safe Environment Training, and all other required background screenings per Diocese of St. Petersburg policies.
