St. Stephen Catholic School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a sixth-grade English Language Arts and Middle School Religion teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We are seeking applicants who are enthusiastic about planning and teaching in a faith-filled educational program. As this is a position that requires religion instruction, you must be Catholic. In addition, we are looking for applicants with teaching experience who are passionate about creating inquiry-based lessons. Familiarity with Understanding by Design, Standards-Based Grading, and classroom technology integration is a plus. Knowledge of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Faith is also essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification or eligible for certification by the Florida State Department of Education (Letter of Eligibility, or current application, with FL DOE ID required)

• Teaching experience preferred

• Passionate about teaching children in a faith-based community

• Highly-skilled communicator

Employment is contingent upon successful competition of a Level II background screening and safe environment training. Salary and benefits are commensurate with the School salary scale and Diocese benefits policy.
