St. Patrick Catholic School is seeking a full-time Elementary teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This highly qualified individual will have earned at least a Bachelor Degree (Graduate degree preferred) and have, or be qualified to obtain, Elementary Teacher certification in the State of Florida. Candidate must successfully complete Level II Background Screening and Safe Environment Training.

The 4th Grade teacher will be expected to:
- The teacher is accountable professionally to the diocese, the pastor, principal, his/her peers, the parents, and the students.
- The teacher participates and shares in the professional evaluation of his/her classroom performance.
- The teacher meets Florida State Certification requirements.
- The teacher follows the policies and procedures in the employee handbook and the parent-student handbook.
- The teacher is responsible for implementing the diocesan and school initiatives at the direction of the principal.
- The teacher continues professional development to ensure best practices and teaching strategies are being utilized in the learning environment.
- The teacher provides accommodations for all students on DoSP Student Support Plans, SSPs, in consultation with the principal, school counselor, and resource teacher.
- Teacher plans all subjects utilizing the Curriculum Track platform.
- All instructional staff are responsible for curriculum related activities, and responsible for teaching the academic programming of St. Patrick Catholic School and making professional decisions to differentiate learning to all learners in the classroom.
- The teacher, being creative and resourceful, utilizes instructional materials which are suitable, and provides a variety of meaningful learning experiences which are academically sound, and differentiates instruction to meet all learners’ needs.
