St. Lawrence Catholic School is looking for a PART TIME school counselor to work with our students Early Childhood to Grade 8. The counselor will work in collaboration with the full time teacher and counselor. A part of the position will be to monitor support plans and update as necessary. This position requires the candidate to address all students' academic, career and social/emotional development needs by designing, implementing, evaluating and enhancing a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes and enhances student success. This position requires the candidate to have experience in individual and small group counseling as well as the ability to teach the standards outlined by the Diocese of St. Petersburg. The counselor must be a team player who can collaborate with teachers the direction needed for student success.

The candidate must possess a Master's Degree in School Counseling and FL State Certification. This position requires successful completion of a Level II background screening and mandated diocesan training. A successful candidate must be a practicing Catholic able to use our Catholic values when working with our children.
