Theology Teacher

Department: High School Education
Location: Tampa, FL

Join our vibrant community at Tampa Catholic as we seek a dedicated full-time Theology Instructor for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. We're looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for education and a commitment to nurturing both academic excellence and spiritual growth.

Position: Full-Time Catholic Theology Instructor
Start Date: August 1, 2024

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive instruction in theology within a collaborative team environment.
  • Utilize pedagogical best practices such as Understanding by Design and Standards-Based Assessment.
  • Integrate classroom technology, including Canvas and 1:1 iPad initiatives, to enhance learning experiences.
  • Promote the development of students' faith, spirituality, and moral integrity alongside academic content.

Qualifications:

  • Practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of Catholic teachings and values.
  • BA or MA in Catholic Theology or a related field.
  • Experience with educational technology integration and curriculum design preferred.
  • Ability to balance rigorous academic standards with spiritual formation.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
