FT Intermediate Teacher 24-25 SY - Bishop Larkin Catholic School

Department: Elementary/Middle Education
Location: Port Richey, FL

Bishop Larkin Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time elementary teacher to join our Intermediate team for the 2024-2025 school year. We are committed to providing a nurturing and faith-filled learning environment where students are empowered to reach their full potential.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and Catholic teachings.

- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, character development, and spiritual formation.

- Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support the holistic development of each child.

- Integrate technology effectively into instruction to enhance learning experiences and meet the diverse needs of students.

- Collaborate with other faculty members to plan and participate in school-wide events, professional development activities, and parent conferences.

- Uphold the mission and values of Bishop Larkin Catholic School by serving as a role model of faith, integrity, and excellence.

Qualifications:

- Possess a valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education or be eligible to obtain certification upon employment.

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education and the teachings of the Catholic Church.

- Previous experience teaching at the elementary level, particularly in 3rd-5th grade, is preferred.

- Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

- Must undergo a Level 2 background screening and complete Safe Environment Training as required by the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
