Job Summary:

Sacred Heart ECC is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to students to ensure their academic success.

Qualifications:

- Department of Children and Families 45 hour Training Requirement
- FCCPC/ CDA Teaching certification, A.A.; B.A. with 6 credits in Early Childhood Education
- Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching
- Successful completion of a Level II Background Screening

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans and instructional materials
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Assess student performance and track progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, and assessments
- Stay updated on the latest educational trends and best practices
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
